I think Knight does get my vote if it's today. But I still feel like it's a pretty open race.
Speaking of Knight... just looking back at the 1983 Draft... Knight was clearly the #1 Position Player on everyone's board and has really proven out.
In fact, the 1-2-3-4 of Magness, Brode, Knight and Carbajal is one of the few Top 4's without a bust in the group. The Great One!
To many rings to count...

The DL is way more competitive than the IL thats for sure.
I don't know if the IL is that way because more teams are bad or because a few teams are just that great; and I don't know if the DL is that way because so many teams are good or because so many teams are not.
Depends on how you look at things, I think. It's mostly interesting to see how the two leagues are different, though, and I do think it has played a large role in why Maine has always been a top contender for a title out of the DL whereas the IL has had different teams win a title.

Remember, when Knight first showed in the draft class, there was much concern he was too good to be true. All those 8's scared people away, almost me included.
I about shit when he got hurt four days after being drafted. Out eight months. Speed guy tearing his ankle up isn't exactly encouraging.
