Ho hum, another .500 week. Victor Allard reminds us all why we stopped playing him at 2B this season by going 3-for-17 for the week. Fortunately, the time he missed will probably cause him to miss out on leading the DL in strikeouts. You're welcome, asshole. Meanwhile, Howard Haydon is doing his best Joe Dominguez impression at 3B, hitting 4 HR last week in 6 games. And Cris Medina celebrates his recall from Gardena by hitting a walkoff double to plate Pancho Perez and complete a 5-run comeback against Syracuse.

Our pitching is still spotty and our offense took a big hit with the Dominguez injury, but there we sit, with a 3 game lead in the Lager due mostly to Mississippi's freefall. Hooray?
