Snow-LaRochelle-Sears vs Magness-Perez-Herrera. Nothing to worry about.

    • You won't get that threesome. I manually set my rotation every SIM so people can't really use their 7-day lineup as easily against me.

      • To be a Gremades player, #87 sure is popular. Looks like near a quarter of the VA fans only came to see him.

Oh no, my attendence is down because I seriously raised my ticket prices the sim after I dealt him. My fan interest is only down by 9. The higher price will payoff in the end. Partially because my team has plenty of money, so why give $y opponents a higher payday on their 20 percent.

Must be nice to have the greatest team ever and be rich. You should relocate to New York City and call yourself "The Boss".

                • A couple more things here:

                  1. Pancho is getting dangerously close to breaking Carlton's 36 game undefeated streak and record setting 1988 season in ERA.

                  2. Herrera has only given up more than 2 earned runs, three times this season. Once to Baltimore and twice to Philadelphia. Virginia still won all three games, though.

                  • As long as we're doing interesting tidbits, that Herrera unbeaten streak actually goes back to '89 since he missed all of the 1990 Regular season w injury. So, technically, the streak has gone 2 calendar years.

You didn't say "I think Wilkerson has had the better career"... you said you'd take him right now in a one-game playoff. Personally, I think that's pure homer goggles considering the way Herrera is pitching right now. But, if your REAL argument is that Wilkerson has had the better career. OK. He's got a title. That's probably enough right there.

However... I would LOVE to see any criteria where you can say Wilkerson is the choice today.

                            • One, Herrera's BABIP is .202, Wilkerson's BABIP is .247. Give Wilkerson that type of luck, and I like his chances.

Hell, in a big game, Wilkerson is money... and Herrera, well, he's no Wilkerson.

                              • If I'm not mistaken, Virginia hasn't lost a Herrera start this season. To me, that alone is a great argument that he is a pretty safe and easy choice in a one-game playoff.

That's not saying anything negative about Wilkerson. He's awesome. I certainly would never venture to say he's not in the Top 3 (likely 2... maybe 1) in the BLB. But, if I'm starting a Rotation today.... I think 20-22 out of 24 Owners right now take Herrera over Wilkerson. I think they're so close to a push talent wise, you'd have to take the guy who is 2 years younger.
