Can we go ahead and preempt Baltimore's inevitable deal for Donato?

Anyone wanna write another article about the Colonials? There will be volumes written someday.

Good news: We once again lead the mighty Lager division.

Bad news: Starting 3B Joe Dominguez is on the shelf for 5-6 weeks with a strained triceps.

I'm not sure why we're even bothering to play out the season. Just give Virginia the Brewmaster's right now and let's get to the offseason.

Just amazing. You've got a great team. Everyone is playing to their potential and absolutely no one has gotten hurt. Just a dream season, congratulations.

Oh... believe me... I totally expect it to come all crashing down around me. But, the thing is... whenever people try to play the humble thing... it still blows up. So... I'm going the other way.

I said three years ago '91 was going to be my year (Class of '91 afterall)... and dammit... it's my year.

But, with the Bats not putting up a fight anymore, I've decided to concentrate on a new goal for the season.

I want to sweep the Awards.

I figure Woodbury and Pancho are in the Driver's Seat for SS and PA.... but... I think you can make a really, really strong case for Jerry Daly for New Brew, Olivio for Last Call... and ME... for JA Wright.

                  I want all 5.

I want all 5 awards... the Brewmaster's Cup... the All-Star win (check)... the first ever 40-40 Player in BLB history... and the love and admiration from my peers.

Considering this is basically a full-time job for you, I think it would be kind of embarrassing if you didn't win all that stuff.

Believe me, I've already won. Seeing Pat so far back that he's reduced to just hoping for injuries for my team is the best prize I could ask for.

Shit... I'm doing everything I can to not open the game now that I'm home. I'll kill this team when I start over-managing it.

Yeah, well you're only 5-4 in extra inning games, so...

Ha. Every since that deal I've been a winning squad.

The Bats currently boast a .622 winning percentage, 3rd best in the entire BLB. Projecting to 101 wins. In their franchise history the Colonials have never had 100 wins in a season.

I'll see you in the playoffs, '85 Millers.
