    Can the Colonials recover?
It was touch and go there for awhile, but we worked through it.

    Thanks for your concern.

Check out the game log. After the first inning, where he gave up a single, runner reaching on error and a walk, he was basically perfect.

      The D.C. crowd was stunned.

So, what's the deal with Donato?

Do I get to void his player option for 1992? If he's not going to play for an entire year, surely he's not going to be able to pick up a 20 million dollar option to sit at home, right?

Sadly, no, but if it were the real world ownership they'd be doing everything in their power to piss the guy off enough to not take it.

Just four wins shy of 200, and nine strikeouts short of 3000. Maybe he's not done yet.

You know what? Fuck it. We're all-in.

Alvarez is going to play third base for us.

He will be 36 when he's ready to pitch in 1993. He has some career left.

                    Pawtucket 3-3

3 game sweep at home, then promptly swept on the road.

15+ games over .500 at home, -18 games under on the road

I am one streaky, immature team. But they are all mine

IRL there's no chance a player turns down that option.

We lose our 1B for an extended period a week after losing our 3B for 5 weeks. We're quickly running out of options for corner IFers.

I haven't really gotten to know chippered's team very well since their fire sale two years ago, but I think it's about time I get to know these new Clowns. 4-2 sim and they still gain a game on us, now 3 back. One thing I do know is I'm totally impressed with his staff.

No chance he turns it down in the BLB either. $20 million dollar contracts aren't floating around. He'll take it.

Also, Rex Knight had himself a Ryne Sandberg game.

With the Clowns down 5-2 in the top of the ninth, Rex steps up with two on, two out. On a 2-2 pitch, Rex knocks a three run shot to tie the game.

Then, in the top of the 14th, game still tied 5-5, Rex steps in with none on, one out, 1-2 count, and knocks another homer, making the score 6-5.

Curt Johnston then comes on to close the game out by striking out the side in the bottom of the 14th.

                                Awesome.
