Donato Guardamagni Out for 14 Months
Sunday, August 11th, 1991: The California Kodiaks were dealt a severe blow when Donato Guardamagni was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Wilmington Wildcats. After the game, the team trainer reported Guardamagni might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 34-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a damaged elbow ligament. They indicated it would take Guardamagni at least 14 months to heal.

So far this season Guardamagni has compiled a 12-6 record with a 2.31 ERA.

1B Joshua Poling was injured while running the bases. The Diagnosis: mild calf strain. This is a day-to-day injury expected to last 3 days.

Sorry. I wish it would give an error if you try to export when over the limit. I spent an hour shuffling guys around and thought I had the correct number at every level.

Yeah, when your team sucks you're constantly shuffling guys between levels. The last thing I check before exporting is the Wilmington Wildcats Transactions tab to make sure every level is where they needto be.

Now without my second baseman, third baseman, and setup man. Not an ideal sim.

1-5. Carolina even helps their own cause by taking 2 of 3 from us. We just can't pitch this year. I have no idea if I did something to my pitchers via strategy, or if it's just on if those OOTP seasons.
