I guess I'm the only IL team without a player? I guess that makes sense, considering there's 21 players on the roster from 5 IL teams. Good job.

Morgantown doesn't have an All-Star either.

Clay and I made a rule, no team with fewer than 30 wins deserves an All-Star.

        That sucks.

The only issue is I don't see 1 Wilmington player that received a vote. Maybe Alvarez as a DH/bench bat.

And Morgantown has Pat Walters. Did you really pick this team?

Pat Walters? Did you even pay attention to the roster you helped organize?

            Oh yeah, Pat Walters.

I appologize. Any team with under 25 wins was not allowed an All-Star. You were the only team in the entire BLB I believe to not have a player receive a single vote.

Blame the 23 other owners Sully, not the two managers who continue to keep the Stout afloat.

I didn't expect Alvarez to receive any attention honestly. He's been gone for 3 weeks. I thought Opio deserved some consideration since he's putting up pretty good numbers despite being surrounded by shit, and has been on a tear lately. The fact that he didn't even make the snub list tells me he wasn't even considered. Oh well.

So, we should force PIT to trade Alvarez back to Wilmington for the All-Star game?

He played there the majority of the season...he could represent in the IL just fine.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Once a player is traded to the other league, he can't play in our All-Star game.

                      58 games; .315/.403/.540 with 10 HR's and 33 RBI's. He could be an honorary 1B.

I didn't realize there was a rule though, my bad. It just sucks not having an All-Star...I've been there. Now I'm loaded and just slightly behind Virginia.

Alvarez was traded before the voting began, or just as it started. I see no issue with him not getting any votes or consideration. It was just bad timing for the deal. I do think Opio was worthy, though. Again, 21 players from 5 teams, 4 of those it appears weren't voted on. So, it's possible a spot could've been made. No big deal. Just wanted to throw it out there that it is a little disappointing to see the roster so lopsided, then hear there wasn't room for a player from every roster.

I'm glad Pat's being mature about it, though.

Well, technically the DL could have put him on their team, but there's no way a player from another league would ever suit up for his old league in an All-Star game.

Do you really think that Opio deserves a spot on this team? Seriously? I'd love to see who you would take off the roster in his place...and then explain to the owners of outfielders who received multiple votes. Raul Velez....Taka Sato....Ruben Martin....Gerard Wouters...etc.

I'll add him to the snub list, don't get your panties in a bunch old man.

Again, yes, I do. Look at what he's surrounded by. With intentions of getting a player on the roster from every team, he is deserving. It's obvious those weren't your attentions, which isn't surprising. Go win the game.

I'll make it even easier for you:

Clay I and had finished 27 of the 28 spots and we were deciding between a big group of "snubs." The last player to make the roster was Philadelphia starter Doug Miles. He is 8-1. He has a 2.68 ERA. He is 3rd in opponents BA. He is 2nd in BABIP. He is 2nd in WHIP. He is 2nd in K/BB. He is 2nd in opponents OBP. He is 5th in strikeouts.

Sorry, but Opio is not getting in over a guy who is having a season like that.

Really? We tried. There was a reason why Buzzell made the roster despite not receiving votes. There is a reason that Héctor Castre made the roster despite a 4-6 record. Clay and I spent a lot of time on this and for you to discredit what we did just makes you look childish.

If you have a problem with the roster, make the playoffs and snub some "deserving" Colonials and Bats. I dare you.
