Honestly, I don't. At all. I don't have an opinion for or against it. I just don't care for it.

The Colonials Organization have reserved the entire top floor of suites at the IP in preparation for their caravan of All-Stars.

You like us, you really like us!

I a related story that hasn't happened yet, but will, the entire Colonials Organization has been injured and listed as OUT for the remainder of the season due to being really, really lucky with injuries in the first half and that ship being righted by the baseball Gods.

Didn't you get a new trainer? If not, then I feel for you. The old guy (or maybe current guy) didn't do the best job.

The part the worries me is that it happened last year. I was really, really healthy early... then got killed with long injuries. Still scratched out the WC... but I feel like I need to stock pile wins right now for the inevitable burn.

I just don't think it really tells me more than other combined stats. I may turn to it if two guys are exactly the same, but I prefer other stats tell me the story.

There are pitchers that are successful even if their OAVG is higher than someone else. A guy could have a .250 average against and a 0.00 ERA and another guy could have a .250 average against and a 9.00 ERA.

I'm just not impressed by what it tries to tell me.

                  To Clay and Pat,

I submit to you, a man that I find deserving of being part of the IL roster although he will not make it via the voting process.

                  He is, Tad Jackson.

Nope. Sorry, can't happen. Tad Jackson did not receive 1 single vote in the balloting process, therefore he can not possibly warrant inclusion on the team. Not my rules, it's just the way it is.

The DL SS voting is criminal.

Jose Sanchez leads DL shortstops in BA, OBP, weighted OBP, hits, doubles and total bases. He trails the VORP leader Rivera (who received 0 votes) by 0.2 and leads Evans by 0.1. But somehow Evans received 16 votes to Sanchez's 3. Trujillo somehow received more votes than Sanchez, despite not even being on the same planet statistically.

                      Do your job, DL managers.

Not to ruin the suspense, but Sanchez is in. The people who voted for Cristian Negron over Carbajal and Zamarida are really making our life difficult. That .286 OBP screams all-star material.

                              Victor Gonzalez got screwed.

I have no real comment about Negron over the two finest 3B in the league, but that too many people over value home runs.

I'm not even going to end that with a "my opinion." Blast away. I hate all of you anyway (except Jake because he knows how to respect his elders).
