Still the only team without any extra-inning games. Good for my bullpen but not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing.
The entire Pilsner is just pacing itself. .500 ball for the last month from everyone. Maine is also on the same pace as they've been 2 or 3 games better than Denver for the past three weeks. No one is really playing very good baseball in the DL.
My OOTP is doing that freeze shit everytime for the past three league files...
Z, didn't you come up with a solution to this?
It either freezes during the load or whenever I click certain tabs. I have redownloaded the entire file. Re-installed OOTP. And also have tried putting it directly in a C: folder. Nothing works.

Yeah, I figured I'd be way out of it but now...I can't believe I'm almost .500. (I'm sure now that I've said that I'll start to tank)

Brad had the solution. I think I deleted everything in the tables folder. Double check with him. He's smart.
Issue: The game crashes whenever you click on a button, menu or tab that takes you to a new screen (or tab)."
Solution: This might be caused by a corrupt filter file that applies to that page. To test this out, do the following:
Quit OOTP if it's running.
Navigate to [documents folder]\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 11\data\tables.
Move all of the files in "tables" to another location, but don't delete them (at least not yet).
Run OOTP again and go to the screen that caused the crash.
If all is well now, you had a filter file that got damaged. If you have not saved any custom filters on any screen, you can just delete those tables files permanently. They will be recreated when necessary. If you have customized some filters on any screen, they will be lost if you delete these files. Of course, they may already be lost since they may be the files that were corrupt and causing the crash.
Baltimore Bulldogs (27-17; 2 GB-2nd Place)
3-0 vs LAM 2-1 at MOR They giveth and they taketh away. And then they giveth back....
We got a 5-1 sim, but it came at a price. Mr. Overrated, Loren Wallace hurt himself on a spectacular catch in the outfield after a collision into the left field wall. He's out for three more weeks with a sprained thumb.
The Good
- In Wallace's absence, left field was platooned by Leslie Lacy and 2nd year outfielder, Coy McPherson. The two combined to go 12/36 with 2 grand slams (including a walk-off by Lacy in Game 1 vs. LAM) and 11 RBI. I'm starting to think its not Wallace that's awesome. Its just anyone who plays left field in Baltimore.
- I know its still early, but Lonnie Grady has now given up just 2 earned runs in the last 30 innings. His last outing against Los Alamos: 8.0 I, 3 H, 3 BB, 11 K, 0 ER. And did I mention this was in Baltimore? I'm so happy to finally have some pitching in Baltimore again, since the Franklin injury so long ago. I'm loving the way he's pitching, although I would like him to understand that he's a starter by now.
-You know who I haven't been giving any love, rookie closer, Don McKay. He's been nothing short of amazing this year with a blistering .93 WHIP, 1.59 ERA and .179 OAVG. He also has chipped in 10 saves with no blown saves to date. If nothing else, these two kids (Grady and McKay) have sparked a bit of optimism for our season.
The Bad
-Did someone just poke Campo's eyes out? He went 0/21 last week, in the cleanup spot (with Wallace out). Well at least he did have six walks.
The Injured Loren Wallace (OF): 3 WEEKS/SPRAINED THUMB
Next
Unsurprisingly, we lose Wallace just as we hit the meat and potatoes of our late May/early June schedule. Next week we just so happen to face the Stout leading Washington Bats in D.C. To close the week, we face California in In-And-Out Field. I'm sure both teams are licking their chops right now. There goes that decent winning percentage.
One extra inning game away from a perfect sim. 5-1! After back to back .500 sims seems Team Softball might be warming up.
Your offense is ridiculous
Don Leonard was cruising until the 7th inning and then your offense went off on one of the better pitchers in the league. His neck is still hurting from having to turn around to watch that Victor Gonzalez 3-run bomb. I thought that game was locked up with a 2 run lead and Husk on the mound but it wasn't meant to be.
