I just realized that while still on the Disabled List with a herniated disk in his back (out for three months) Miguel Angel Padilla had his appendix removed two sims ago and will miss five weeks...which ironically, is the same time he is scheduled to be fully recovered from the back injury.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

If anyone wants to trade with me, I suggest doing so in the near future before my team spirals further into mediocrity and I regard trading as a lost cause this season. The bullpen has been way, way better than I expected it to be and it's keeping us in games. The rotation is largely average and I have a few AAA (or even AA) pitchers waiting in the wings for mid-season auditions. But our offense just sucks. We get O'Finegan back this week and that will help, but I think we're at least a bat and a arm away from being any good this season.
....but nobody else in our division is any good either, which has me thinking of making a move or two.SIN CITY GAMBLERS since 1990

3-3 (21-23 overall)
2-1 vs. Windy City
1-2 vs. Virginia
Our starting pitching continues to be abysmal, out bullpen continues to be #1. Remember everyone DeLacy is still available. Will cost about $400k and currently has a 2.40 ERA and 0.93 WHIP.
Good
- The bullpen. Rosalio, Bayer, Crossman, Petro, Gallager...0 earned runs again.
- Ednams is still playing like the man. 7 RBI's, 3 BB's, 3 SB's for the week.
- A .261/.344/.370 week for the offense, capped off by a 15 run performance against Virginia.
Bad
- SP Pete Hudder. After his injury we worked him back into playing by using him as a spot starter and mop-up guy, and he played well. Time to work him back into the starting lineup and he goes .3 of an inning, allows 2 HR's and 4 ER. A nice weekly ERA of 108.01.
- SP Corondo is having a crappy year as well. He was demoted to spot starter and mop-up and proceeds to have a 21.60 ERA for the week.
- Games we lost this week: 2-3, 7-8, 3-4. Darn!
Overall
If we could only pitch more consistent we might have a winning record. Athey is hot right now and we are going to try a little pitching experiment this week...we'll let you know tomorrow how it goes.
Do we have a chance for the playoffs...sadly not. Virginia, Washington, Philly, Baltimore, Cali...and then the crappy Bock division winner leaves no places for the Muckdogs.
