Second straight winning sim for the Tobs and we've gotten to .500 at 13-13. My lineup is hitting pretty well so far. Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to be able to field a team if the injuries keep up at this rate. In particular, losing Sato is going to kill us.

I was flipping through the team pages earlier and your lineup screen looked like a crime scene with all the red all over the place. Good grief.

Somehow we have the second-lowest ERA in the DL. Behind some very solid pitching, Sin City goes 5-1 this week to move into a tie for first in the Lager. Unfortunately, O'Finegan was lost for the next four weeks with a strained rib cage muscle, which means Rule V pickup Brad Byers will be in for a bump in playing time. I'm starting to think offense is going to be a problem this year, especially in the OF. That weakness has our front office pondering a variety of moves.

By the way - anyone know how I can slot a guy to get the majority of PH at bats? I don't have Roger Dieter slotted into any backup fielding positions because he's not that great defensively, but the game absolutely refuses to use him as a PH. Is there a way to get him into games other than putting him in a backup fielding spot? Didn't there used to be a screen on an older version where you could rank PHs in the order you wanted them used? Or did I just imagine that?

And did the injury frequency get set to "death march" for 1991???? Wow, my minors has been torn up.

It is what it is. I'll blow it up this year. I wasn't about to dump tons of money into a bunch of 35+ FAs way past their prime. We'll take our lumps for a couple years and solidify the farm.

                            6-1...

We showed up to play against our Bock opponents and now have an early 3 game division lead. Larry Headington is hitting the ball really well, maybe it has to do with the fact that he's in a contract year?

We've been lucky to avoid the injury bug this year (knock on wood). If we could only get some starting pitching then I'd be a lot more confident in this year's team winning the division.

You should be able to reload your system with just Dani Alvarez. He may be the most underrated player in the BLB that is also a no brainer HOFer. If I thought there was a chance that you'd trade him inside the division, I'd make a serious run.

He should pull a nice haul.
