  • The Draft Utility clock appears to have been reset. CAL was on the clock first thing this morning, it counted down to the deadline then reset and is counting down again with CAL still on the clock. Longest draft ever?

      • I think the first thing to do would be changing the active clock to 8 am through midnight instead of 10 am - 10 pm. I think that's a fair window and it's worked well for the OSFL. In fact, I always thought that's what we did here as well.

It's 8am - 10pm right now. Not sure what we have done in the past.

I like the 8-midnight window as well. BTW, PAW is now on the clock after CAL takes 1B Artie Griffin and PIT takes C Dusty Simms.

            • Simms was a no brainer for me. A catcher with a good work ethic and a 178 OPS+ in his college career? Yes, please.

              • Sorry, didn't even know I was on the clock.

Pick is in. Artie Griffin - 1B from Miami.

Went off OSA ratings as I forgot to bring in my big board.

6-7-5-3-6... probably turns into a 5-6-4-2-5 hitter. Probably won't be useful enough to be a starter, but could be potential bench bat or trade bait down the line.

                • People also need to remember that the BLB draft really picks up steam after the 5-6 round where nearly everyone is on full auto.

Speaking of which, how do you turn your team onto auto if you don't have a list of players to pick from?

Yeah, but his teammates want to stick a pair of scissors in his neck like Michael Irvin did to Everett McIver

I'm going to guess the flag that says Auto Draft after Round: <Blank> is going to be your ticket there. Not actually sure if it works though.

I tried to do it before my current pick, and it ignored the command.

So, I'm not quite sure if that's the way to do it.

Were you already on the clock when you tried to set it? Or were you trying to set it for a round that was already in progress? It may only work if it is set for a future round? I'm pretty sure it won't work if you are already on the clock.

They do? He's smart, loyal, unselfish, and a hard worker. Seems like the kind of guy you'd want on your team.
