    Well, screw me. I was just about to start working the phone lines to see if there was any way to move up into the mid to late 2nd round to pop 2B Marino Salinas, who was number 10 on my draft board, but he goes to Indy before I even get a dial tone. Oh well.

              For the record, my scout had Batavia's pick as the #1 overall player in the entire draft, based on potential. 8-8-8 potential.

              I passed on him because the other RP I had was more developed, better OSA, higher endurance....but I think Orlando Reyes is going to be special.

                I must say that Batavia is excellent at two things.

                Finishing last in the Porter.

                Picking good relief pitchers.

                  I think we're the same way. I have such a hard time passing on RPs with high ratings. I saw those guys and almost took them but had to steer away from it since it seems like I'm overloaded on RPs and most of the time they don't get a good return in trades.
