Baltimore Bulldogs - SIM 1 - (2-4; 4th)
1-2 vs MOR: W 12-5, L 7-12, L 4-8
1-2 vs VIR: L 5-14, W 6-4, L 6-16
Very humbling week as we lose both series, to Morgantown and Virginia, while giving up an eye-popping 59 runs in six games. I knew my pitching would be a liability, but not to this extent. Nathan and Abe got hurt, with Abe out for 2 weeks with a dead arm.
I'm going to chalk these losses up as early season rust since I brought 40 players to spring training, which I normally don't do. Maybe there just were not enough reps to go around for the pitching staff. Yea, that's it.
