  • Shavermetrics 1991

By popular demand... ok... well... a couple people wanted them.

I threw it in the old Commodore 64 and spit out the basics. The conversion to OOTP 11 has me concerned about these rankings because some of them don't make a lot of sense to me. However, I trust my equation, so I'll go with them unchanged.

I miss the full numerical ranking you used to do, but I'll take 2nd best team in the DL.

I do love me some Shavermetrics. Thanks for getting them in!
    Charlotte Knights - OSFL
    Syracuse Slammers - BLB
South America - 1984 WBC Runner Up

      You're #5 in the BLB...

      Virginia
      Washington
      Baltimore
      Maine
      Syracuse

That's the Top 5 in order by Shavermetrics.

I think we've got a good shot at the Co-Commissioner's Cup. Glad to see Shavermetrics agrees.

By Shavermetrics, Morgantown would be about 3:2 out of the gate. I'd probably set the line on Carolina and Hyundai both at 3:1 (maybe 5:2). You were separated by a single Shavermetric Unit for 2nd and 3rd.

As I figured Maine still has a stranglehold on this division. I gave it one more year also

Wow, Baltimore up there. I thought they'd be good, but I had no idea.

Morgantown will go undefeated after the BLB draft when they insert Elman Amilakhori into their SS position and cleanup spot.

If injected my own opinions and not just math, I felt like B'More was a little high and Cali and WC were a little low.

Hmm, I was hoping we'd be in the 3 spot again in the Porter. Worked out well for us last year.

Someone has to win the Bock. It might as well be you.

Umm, I think there's a typo in there. It says that Baltimore is one of the top 3 teams in the IL.

I think the first real test Shavermetrics has seen is Baltimore as the #3. Will it's legitimacy survive into 1992?

This is like a free year for Shavermetrics (IMO). The conversion to 11 hasn't been completely factored into the equation yet.
