Mr. Overrated wins his first IL Slugger.

Baltimore makes the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

Technically it will be Gremades first IL Stout Slugger... he won in the DL. Thanks for thinking of him though.

Ahhhhhh... to be fair... Wallace hasn't won anything... or really done anything.... so I'm not sure he's Overrated... or even Rated.

*We continue to lose 85-100 with no pitching. Our young core of position players gets a year older

*2B Chuck Durham has a soph slump, but it's balanced by 1B Brad Dameron getting his swing back.

*Overpriced C Castro finally comes off the books for 9 million next Oct.

*Mapalo stays (and retires in Hartford) as the lynchpin of fan interest not plummeting to 13.

*South African RF Amri Sau continues to show bust batting a buck and change in A ball.

*I actually have my opening day export go through so half my farm system isn't cut and 4 pitchers are forced to throw 200 IP a month.

That's ok. He didn't win the Most Gay IL Slugger Award either.

At least Woodbury has another prestigious award to put on his pink mantle next to his autographed picture of George Michael.

I'm going to chalk that up to off-season rust. See if you can't scratch together a good comeback by Opening Day.

Sounds fair enough. Lord knows, we gave our new commish long enough to get us there.

Better. I'd give it a .260... or, in other words, what Wallace will hit on the road.

Not So Bold: I think this is the perfect storm season for Virginia and our legit year to win it all. I think there are some notable players playing their final season for the Colonials so we need to strike while the iron is hot.

Bold: I think the 1991 Colonials break the single-season record for both Team BBs and Team OBP.

Bolder: Yoritoki Maeda has the first 200 Hit, 100 R, 30 HR, 100 RBI season in Colonial History.

Boldest: I think the breakout star on the team and perhaps the BLB is Hector Chavez. I say Chavez gets off to a hot start and wrestles the Starting 2B Spot for the IL All-Star away from Geoff Scott. While he won't get on-base at the same clip as Scott, I think his Power and Speed will earn him the nod.

Not very bold, but the Snappers will finish in last place for the first time in quite a long time.

                              Pilsner Champs: 1984, 1986, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998
