Not that I'm complaining, but are the league file sizes smaller? I downloaded the file quicker than normal.

Bout the same size. Might have something to do with the version. Not sure. Good news I guess though.

        Strange, but welcomed.

Clay, did you get my email for the Phillips Field renovations?

Brad Byers, 1B, Triple-A Richmond Rams, was the only D.C. player in the Rule V. I figured he (along with a few others) would be drafted. Lefty 1B who hit .344 last year and won Triple-A Hitter of the Year. Might be AAAA type, but I like the pick Skerik. Worth a look.

I was hoping to grab him too. Definitely a good pick. Kid hits righties a ton. Nothing to lose by giving him a shot in the show.

What is one thing you never want to see your scout say about one of your most promising young prospects?

Only making some very minor moves.

Bullpen is not going to be a strength for me, this year.

And in a shocking development, the BLB FA pool is filled with nothing but very old players who aren't very good any more and who are all asking for way, way too much money. Wow, who saw that one coming?

Is there a change to the system that you suggest we make?

Otherwise, I think it's pretty normal to see the type of FA class we're having this year.

Six years of team control seems to sap most of the best years out of the players by the time they hit the FA market... just like real life.

I don't think it's a bad Free-Agent group. We have have had, much, much worse.

There is a ton of front-line pitching available. Sure, it's overpriced, but hey, that's free-agency!

                              I only see one.

                              Define 'front-line'.
