It looks like your active roster and AAA club are both under the limit though. Plus you can technically sim during the off-season if teams are over the limit so I would be surprised if Clay waived and DFA'd him.

1989 is no longer listed in the career metric section, FYI.

Every other year seems to be intact.

Well, I'm certainly not looking forward to the $840K hit when Barrows times-out from DFA and is released next sim. But it's not like that is the one thing that's going to ruin our season.

I'm hoping the next league file fixes my database. Every time I load the game I get an error message telling me something went awry the last time I saved the game and my database might be corrupt. (Maybe that's what caused my Barrows dilemma?) I've already replaced the league file utilizing the link in the Owners forum. Apparently that didn't help. I'll see what happens with the next sim. I hope I don't have to unlicense, uninstall, reinstall, relicense and d/l. But, then again...That's what beer is for.

I would shoot Clay a PM so he can address the Barrows issue when he returns. I'm sure he'll be willing to add him back to your active roster and make him ineligible for Rule 5 if you explain the situation. It might get lost in the shuffle in this thread though.

Barrow has been a head scratcher for me. I looked at him back in 89. It seems he should be better.

Some guys are just like that.

Willy Mo Pena for example... looked like he had all the tools to be a 40+ HR man in the bigs... couldn't get out of his own way to ever stick with an MLB club.

                RULE 5 NOTES:

If any player has a Major League Contract and/or is on the 40-man roster of a team (or BLB Roster) he is not eligible to be drafted. If there's a glitch, there is a glitch. In other words, don't both submitting for that player.

Lists are due to me by Noon tomorrow (Sunday).

A quiet move that's kind of cool: I hired John Brabant to manage the AA Harrisburg Capitals.

A few of you might remember Wild Thing as the Freedom's first round pick in the inaugural BLB draft.

I tried to sign him too. Thought it would be cool to have a former Snapper on the coaching staff.
