When running sims as league commish, that team makes the Brewmaster's Championship 50% of the time. Conspiracy.
Also, I think the Pawtucket-Colville deal should be nixed, right? I don't think "the other" Clown did it purposefully trying to break rules, but we don't allow FA signings after the end of the regular season until FA Sim 1?

Do we have an actual rule against that? He basically gave the guy a 2 year contract, the first of which will be paid this season without him playing a game. I'm confused as to why Davenport released him.
I'm not in anyway surprised by the result. Like I have said numerous times before, this 1990 Bats team was maybe the deepest team in BLB history. Seriously. My bench could probably start for half the teams in the league. My rotation was six-man the entire year long. My Triple-A team almost set the record for wins. Anytime I had an injury, I had someone to step up. But in the playoffs, depth doesn't mean shit. I've had much better teams over the years. My flaws were exposed and if you check the games, I really could have been swept or lost in five without too much different rolling of the dice.
I'm not sure if we have a rule for it...but I know there have been teams that cut soon to be free-agents, after the regular season is over and they got signed and we nixed the deals. Fernando Corulla comes to mind. At least, I think that was his name.

The Corulla deal was nixed because it was so lopsided. At least if we're thinking of the same deal.
