Congrats to all the playoff teams. I wish you all good luck.

Funny. In the 162nd game of the season, I gave all my starting hitters the day off. Went with a full bench unit and September callups in the final game of the year. Game goes 11 innings, MAP, who came in the game as a PH, hits a three-run homer, his 40th bomb of the season. 3-0 win in extras is a great way to end the regular season. Against a divisional foe no less.

    Spoiler
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

And Jake swept Dallas, eliminating any hope of a tie breaker. (That's not mentioning beating Denver 2 of 3).
I'm in the same boat, with Aurillo and Hanrahan too tired to pitch game 1 or 2.

Second (or third?) year in a row for the WC to come out of the Pilsner. At least we're keeping our division name strong.

Second year in a row. Hartford had a three-year run as the Wild Card out of the Ale prior to that.

It looks like we will have the 5th pick in the draft. It's going to be a crazy offseason in Carolina, we're going to have a ton of money and a ton of spots to fill. This rebuilding project is going to take a couple of seasons but I think we have some pieces to be a contender again in 2-3 seasons.
