Sorry Linty, but I think the Wildcard is Baltimore's.

Home field advantage down the stretch will pay off for the Bulldogs.

I like our chances right now. As stated by Spear, we have a very good record at home (3rd best in the league, behind Washington and Virginia), and if we sweep the week we are in the playoffs. I don't see that happening though.

The elephant in the room is the injury to Geoff Scott. Its crazy. I do not wish injuries on any player for any team, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not relieved to not be facing Scott this week.

On another note, I think there's a chance that if Philly goes 0-6 and we go 7-0, we win the division.

We'd be headed for a one game playoff in that case, which we are more than capable of doing our part so the rest is up to you.

Also, if we go 0-6 and BAL wins out, I think Philly wins the wild card. Yea!

If we had another week or two, I'd like my chances... for tomorrow's sim? Not really.

                I voted Baltimore.

I think my season ended when I went 1-2 v Morgantown last SIM.

Same. It was the obvious choice.

I'm just happy to be here. When I lost Herrera last off-season I was skeptical that my team could contend. When Poling AND Nino both came out of the gates like they aged a decade each. When Dale O'Hegarty starts hitting .249 (though he's still a .400+ OBP guy)... I didn't expect to even be in the hunt around June. Happy to make that August run.

I have developed a new theory on how the game works over the past 8 SIMs though. I think the game basically knows what the maximum stats a player can put up in a season if healthy is. I think Woodbury came out of the gate so hot in the first half, that he basically reached 80% of his season stats in July. That's why August and September have been such a bear for him statistically.

I still think he's the best player in the league though. Power, Walks, Steals bases, plays great corner OF. If I'm going to make the playoffs it will be because October is a new month and OOTP is going to wake up Woodbury.

Like Pedro Zamarida having 28 home runs through five months of baseball and only managing to hit one in September?

The guy is destined to never reach the 30 HR mark. Kinda ridiculous.

If they're limited per season, why would the new month of October wake him up?

Maybe it doesn't factor playoffs into stat projections?
