      Harry Keppel

      Finley Kinsey

Would I consider them the absolute best? No. But I think they should garner a few 2nd/3rd place votes.

      Both batted over .300 (Keppel .326, Kinsey .319), both drive in 110+ runs (114, 117), both hit 25+ HR's (28, 30), both had .900+ OPS (.953, .929), Kinsey was 3rd in Total Bases.

      Please vote.

Kinsey amazes me with how well he hits.

        What a stud!

Nice editing. You forgot to mention that Pawtucket was second on that list behind Denver. ;)

                IL - Pale Ale Pitcher

                Reasons to vote for Donato,

                IL WHIP: #1
                IL VORP: #2
                IL RA/9: #1
                IL ERA: #3
                IL K/BB: #3
                IL QS: #3
                IL QS%: #3
                IL H/9: #3

Pat likes to say Wilkerson has a better VORP because he's started three more games than Carlton. Why then does Guardamagni also rank higher?

                Carlton: 28 starts, 180 IP, 60.6 VORP
                Guardamagni: 29 starts, 201 IP, 64.3 VORP

He's got the lowest WHIP and the second highest VORP in the IL... what more does he need to do to prove he's worthy?

I guess I should've pimped Hector Pagan more for New Brew since he was somehow left off of 6 ballots thus far...

#1 in the IL in K's per 9 IP
#1 in the IL in hits per 9 IP
#1 in the IL in Opponents Average
                  38.7 VORP

The only knock on Pagan is his control, which I knew would be an issue his first season, but the kid probably has the nastiest stuff in the IL right now.

As much as it pained me to do so....he was #1 on my ballot.

I understand the strong cases for several other players in the IL, it just boggles my mind how he could've been left off 6 of the 11 ballots cast thus far. That's ridiculous.

Maybe they didn't scroll down to the pitchers. That's the only explanation I can think of. I had Pagan #1.

He also walked every batter he didn't strike out. He had a good season and looks to be an ace in the near future, but I think there are some pretty good options for IL New Brew.

                              I also agree with that.

Over 100 walks, and a WHIP near 1.50 is something that could easily scare voters off.

I deliberately left Pagan off. Yes, all in all, he had a good season, but there are also other excellent candidates who didn't lead the BLB in walks allowed.
