Still 4.5 back. Maybe Nickell's return this week can give us some sort of boost.
Too bad you don't play Denver in September...

But he does have 4 against Philly to look forward to! We're saying the same thing here that's being said in Denver, "Thank God August is over . . . . I hope the calendar flipping to September fixes a couple of things."

Maybe we can cowrite and submit a request to remove August from all future seasons.

Look out Philly, we already have a series win under our belts AND we play better on the road.

13-15 in the month of August with a 9.5 game lead in the division is more like cruise control. I'd still put my money on things straightening out soon.

I would be onboard with this in our little universe as well as in real life. We're headed for 105+ degrees again today with little relief in sight. A "cool front" is going to blow through this weekend and push us back below triple digits, so we've got that going for us. Which is nice.

That's crazy. But I hear Dallas heat is dry. I never been (only spent a few hours in the airport on a layover) so I can't compare but the humidity in NYC makes 90 degrees feel like one million. I'm sure it's still hot in Dallas either way, dry or not.

A girl I'm talking to now is from Dallas and she just vacationed there this past week and she said she loves the weather there compared to New York. Not sure what that means exactly. She's a woman, you know.

Typically in August we average about 50% relative humidity in the afternoons (obviously higher than that in the mornings, closer to 80%), so I would never call what we experience here a dry heat.

Secondly, she's lying to you because no one "vacations" in Dallas.

                              Still, dubious at best.
