Another 3-3 week for the Tobs. Unfortunately I lost Jed Lewis (SP) to a torn UCL. I didn't have high hopes he'd turn into much more than a 5th starter, but it still hurts to see him go down to a 2nd major injury. He's probably done. Now I have a decision to make on how to fill that spot in the rotation. We've been dropping like flies these past few weeks.

The insane AA playoffs are beginning, those should be interesting.

Team softball 3-3. Yet great display of pitching (sigh)

Bob Burleson going to be hurt most of the next sim. Seems Mr. Burleson starting to be a bit "glassy".

Hmmmm... sure noticed some teams still in the hunt who either lost a bat to injury or could use another stick for the run. If only there were a Hall of Famer who could play 1B, 3B or DH coming off the DL who has already cleared trade waivers and, despite a slow start to the season, has actually hit .297/.381/.500/.881 over the last month. It's a shame that guy isn't out there.

After another 5-1 week, We start August 12-5, and are one of the hottest teams in the BLB right now. We get George and Campoveroe back next week. I'm not sure who's going to start with McPherson playing like a young star.....well actually I do, but I'm not sure who's going to play between the old guys.

Mr. Overrated is now at .373 and making a late case for IL Stout Slugger.

Really, I understand. That's why he's now named Mr. Overrated.

As long as we are all on the same page. Good player. Take him from Baltimore, not great.

I know. One of them will be mine. I wonder what the IL record for batting average is?
