    0-6

    1-10 in August.

SP Orozco, 3B Whiteley, and CF Fehilly are all on waivers...not trade waivers. Take them if you want them.

Denver back on track? Hopefully. Pedro Zamarida had a strong week and is on his way to a sixth straight 25 HR 100 RBI season. It's a small list.

          Baltimore Bulldogs - 2nd Place - (53-51)

          2-1 @ Pittsburgh
          3-0 v Batavia

          Notes:

          - I'll take a 5-1 sim as we are just .5 of a game back for the wild card spot. There's still a long way to go, but it feels good to win games with three of our top hitters on the DL.

          - Loren Wallace, who from this point forward will be referred to as Mr. Overrated, has increased his batting average to a paltry, league-leading .365. I'm not really sure how he did that during an away series. Everyone knows he only hits well in Phillips Field.

          - Remember that 8-8-8 (speed, stealing, base running) kid, Coy McPherson? Yea, he's on fire since coming back to the bigs and he hits better on the road. He has hit .442 through 11 games in August including four home runs, and five steals. I wasn't expecting this from him when Campo went down, but I'll take it.

I'm just waiting for the bottom to drop out. I'm sure we'll go back home and struggle against Hartford and Pawtucket. Then fall out of the playoff picture when we visit Maine and Philly the following week.

                Sure does...

Maybe its because I had him in CF.

                  Shhhhhhh.... we're lurking...

Favorite moment of the SIM (watched all 6 games)....

In Game 3 with Morgantown, Mohawks hump out to a 5 run lead... Colonials scratch back partly on a 3 run bomb from Poling. 5-5 in the 6th and former Colonial Romano Gonzalez comes in to pitch with a runner on.... one pitch later Rod Phillips puts him in the seats for a 2 run lead. Poling steps in and battles Gonzalez for 11 pitches... on the 12th pitch, Gonzo plunks Poling and according to the play-by-play Poling charges the mound and drops Gonzo with a punch to the head. Benches clear. Good times. Good times.

It's complete randomness sprinkled with a few misleading ratings.

I noticed. I told you, you would get a great season out of him. When a right handed pitcher can pull out a 10-6 record pitching in Baltimore...he's probably going to be awesome anywhere else.
