Batting titles are great. Especially when they can help lead a nobody team forward for a surge to get to the playoffs.

Quit playing down to your opposition's level! I expect you to bring the Cup back to the Porter!

Its got to be a bizarro world in the BLB right now.

Batavia and Baltimore are Top 10 Teams in the league right now.

                Which means a lot...in a 24 team league.

At least it means they are on the better half of the two sides. That's something for two organizations that had been struggling to break from the bottom half.

It's still too early to count those chickens.

Besides, you should be harping this as more evidence that the IL is better since 6 of the 10 are from the Import League. Surprised that's not in your signature.

Oh, yea, I agree with that. But that's not what you said. :)

                          I'm a Stout supporter first.

We all know the DL is Maine and a bunch of average squads.

I'm more middle of the pack, breaking into top half.

                            Matt's the bottom half. j/k

Seriously, I've been increasing my win total slowly over the last couple of seasons(so has Matt). I really think we have a halfway decent chance of contending for the WC spot this year. No glaring holes in my team this year, and the fact that Baltimore is only 6th in HR's allowed says a lot for the improvement of our pitching staff despite the sky-high ERA. I'm happy with our performance so far.

You have the worst pitching staff in the IL...

                              12th in ERA
                              11th in Starters ERA
                              12th in Bullpen ERA

I don't know what you consider a glaring hole...

That's why I picked up Lorral, Abe, and McMonies.

I'm also 14-9 in July, after the aquisitions. This is after 11-16 and 14-16 May and June, respectively. Coincidence? I doubt it.
