      If it weren't for Virginia (9-2) and Morgantown (7-1), I'd be out of the playoff picture.

              Joe Ponte was lost for two months (essentially the rest of the regular season) with a strained elbow. He’s at 9 wins right now so hopefully he can come back and get a start or two under his belt before the end of the year. He’s never had a season with fewer than double digit wins and I’d hate for him to lose his streak this year when he was pitching so well (9-1 | 2.24 ERA | 0.96 WHIP | 14 QS | 18 GS).

              The Dan Jones acquisition looms much larger now.
