Hey, I'm not ashamed to admit it... I lied to the kid's Dad. I said, "Hey I gotta take a picture of your kid's hat. I have a buddy who works in the front office in Batavia and he'll be geeked to see it."

He had the Tshirt on too. It was the name of his little league team. They didn't even know the team was in Batavia. Apparently Minor League teams have become the rage in local little league.

When I was growing up, we only used the pro teams. Would have been fun to get some minor league hats as well.

We used pro teams too. I would rather have been pretty much any minor league team on earth over the team we were - the Yankees.

This thread made me laugh so hard my wife came downstairs to see what the hell I was doing. Now she's a bit concerned.

It would have been awesome to "represent" a minor league team in little league. We were Collis Heating. We played against Whitesboro Fire Department, Vicks Lithograph, etc. That sucked.
