It's a holiday weekend and I completely understand that. 4 days to get the exports in, I hoped, would open the window far enough for everyone.

My thought about opening up the rosters is that it gives an unfair advantage to the teams that did not submit. People have to make tough cuts this SIM, in some cases, without any games played. If I open up the rosters, people will get some games to "scout" the players.

In the interest of moving on, we'll run the SIM at noon either way. I am going to fine all of the teams that don't export under the same rule as the "DFA". Basically, your rosters are in error, so you get fined. It's small potatoes, but I have to do something. But I don't want to penalize the 20 teams that did export.

Where can I download the league file? I can't get it in-game and I want to overwrite the one I've modified with the old one.

Sim should be run at noon. I exported my roster for opening day and it didn't take, I didn't know how to check it in the utilities (my fault I guess) and my AA team was stripped and my entire A team was destroyed (I had 5 players left), not to mention 2 of my young AAA pitching prospects were taken by other teams on waivers. People have had four days to export. Run it. Sounds harsh, but fair is fair.

Where's Clown at? Is he on his honeymoon?

If so, a fine might be a bit harsh.

Why not just DFA all draftees or whatever it took to make the rosters fit starting from the 10th round? E.g., team has three spots available on minor league rosters, DFA picks 4-10 or however many there are. That way their A roster is 25 players, and they don't get a free look at anyone because they're DFA'd.

We're moving ahead. Players will be DFA'd and teams fined that don't meet the limit. The fine is $50,000 and far more symbolic than impactful.

With 5 minutes to go we have 21 of 24 teams in.

Sorry guys, had to take my wife to the doctor this morning. Had to wait longer than we thought, but do what you have to do. I should have gotten it done last night. Sorry for any problems.
