We just can't hit for shit. Another week of .190/.232/.328 puts us still dead last (by a long shot) in batting average. I keep hoping we get hot to even us out down the stretch but it just doesn't seem to be happening.
Our pitching is suffering, especially after the 19 inning marathon we played against Philly. With Sasaki out we have no #4/#5 and it shows.
As of late our main goal was signing every popular player we could for as cheap as we could. Our interest went from 51 to 72 so at least the fans are coming to the ballpark.
I'd hate to see teams get players cut because of an off-schedule sim on a holiday weekend. Maybe it makes sense to just increase the A roster size for a sim or two instead of cutting players?
That's fine. We'll just do Monday then. But, I'd like to make it a Mid-Day. I'll post a separate post.
I'm looking at making a trade but the issue of profitability has come up. Below is a quote from our rule book:
"Teams who are $10m or more in debt are restricted from making trades unless the trade reduces their payroll."
Does "$10M in debt" refer to the "Current Balance" or the "Projected Final Balance"? (Right now, I have positive cash of $26.9M; but the end-of-year projection is negative ($14.1M).

Thanks!
Actually, I don't think it is either. I think it's a combination of Projected Budget Room and your starting balance.
