I think Dallas mentioned this the other day, but your A ball team has 10 players on the roster. Ghost players are not turned on in this league. 19 year old SP Doug rich threw 1,214 pitches this week. On the bright side, he's leading the league in CG's with 19.
Another tough week in which the bats weren't hitting. A .231/.292/.362 line for the week just won't get it done, I'm surprised we were about to go .500. We did get a power surge though as we hit 6 HR's over the six games...putting out number from 15 to 21 on the year. Also five out the six games were 1-run games.
On a sad note we lost SP Sasaki for 7 weeks. The guy is having a stellar season (3.36 ERA/1.02 WHIP) and this a huge blow in our quest for .500. At least it's only a strained oblique and not the infamous Batavia arm injury. His injury forced a Chet Stephens start who then promptly got nailed by Virginia with 4 runs in the 1st inning before being pulled.
In the minors we are 1st in both AAA and AA which is promoting peace and love instead of the usual grumbling.
Up next we play all six on the road...three at Davenport then three at Cali.

Is that the 1-45 team? I had so many personal messages this week because my team played a 3 game series and I had guys going 10 for 11 each game.
