  • SIM COMPLETE - 1990 - Regular Season 2

    NEXT SIM: Wednesday

    ***

    Notes:
    - Removed Career Ending Injury to Rico Suave or whatever his name is... also edited his injury down to 179 days (180 - 1 day) based on our old spreadsheet.

    - Image Pack has been run and will be uploaded later tonight or in the A.M.

    - "Sandwich Round" players were added to Draft Pool. They are all DH's and you SHOULD NOT draft one of them.
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

2 games out of a wild card spot.

This sim would have been really good if our bullpen hadn't given up a couple of wins. Still, really happy with my starters this sim, especially Hebert and Mendez.

      2-5...

Swept by Virginia but still had a good showing.

Been happy with the offense. Let's see if we can pick it up next week when we get our first taste of the division next week.

1st place! Gotta enjoy it while it lasts. Go Wouters. Had some ratings increases in a few guys too. Not trading Piglet has paid early as well.

I have a question. Has the schedule changed? I'm showing 12 interleague games coming up. Is that normal?

Um, yeah, what's up with the schedule? I have like 30+ interleague games this year.

My last sim must not have taken (the one before reg season 1) because I just saw the last thread that said my roster had too many players. However, I spent like an hour trimming down my whole system and setting my line-ups for Opening Day.

I guess the CPU (or commish) cut a bunch of players because now they were irrevocable waivered, and because I must have missed it, claimed by other teams?

I saw Curry and Adams got claimed by Los Lunas and Pawtucket.

I guess I can write it off as newbie learner's curve which blows, but how does it work if this happens again? The commish or the CPU waives them? Just so I know what's going on.

Also, how do I get the draft utility to work? Is there a FAQ somewhere?

Yeah, you missed something. The season started without our custom schedule getting loaded.

Interesting. I like it, though. More games against the inferior Pilsner division is only going to help me pad the win column.

You have to double-check the export tracker to make sure your exports are out there. If you're not green and a new date, there's nothing out there.

The whole sim stops if we don't resolve roster issues. I'm sorry it happened.

You have to login to the utility to use the Draft Utility. I'll send you a PM.

Yeah, it's a one year thing, but you should play every team in the other league for one series (I believe)
