Yes I am, and thanks!

Sunday at noon, so I will not be around much this weekend. We've got some folks coming in from out of town and we have some other details to tie up.

That being said, my draft list is good (sort of), my exports will be in, and everything will be in order for me being away. I should be around next week though since we're sticking around town with my son. Just taking the week off to relax and such. May take a couple of day trips, but nothing long distance.

Damn the guy I wanted got picked right before me. It's a Geoff Scott flash back!

I worry a little about Torres as well but here's the rundown on why I picked him:

-Scout had him as the #5 guy overall on his board
-5-5-6. 5-5-4 OSA as well. Not a huge fan of OSA but at least it's in the ballpark. I've had trouble in the past picking guys my scout saw as can't misses but OSA hated.
-4 pitches, with 2 plus plus pitches.
-throws 97-99 mph
-"Fairly" developed at 3-5-2

I passed on a guy my scout had at 7-7-8-7-?, but I've taken three guys like that in the last three years and they've all "busted." Shawn Watson, Willie Marshall, and now Glen Conley. I was afraid to have that happen again.

I think we may be entering the "secrets" portion of this year's draft right now. I like it, a consensus on the 1st round (as most real world drafts tend to be) and then a little bit more divergent likes/dislikes in the 2nd and later rounds.
