Guh forgot to set my rotation for six starters despite having a sixth man in there so Poole sat out two weeks.

Crazy stuff you see when looking at such small samples:

Does anybody recall there being a known bug with Spot Starter usage? For the 1st ST sim I had a 6-man rotation set up with one Spot Starter set at 50%. My Spot Starter started twice (and made a relief appearance), but my #6 starter never pitched an inning. There's nothing in his player history regarding an injury or suspension.

                      I have no idea Gyro.

                      ---

Good ST sim for the Bats. Best record in the league. Pitching looked good. Hitting looked even better. I did lose Charlie MacCabe for a month. Also Mike Murdock for another week. Could have been worse on the injury front. Much worse.

Still not sure what to do at third. With MacCabe out, the job versus lefties and righties falls to Clement Montgomery. Great fielder and base runner, but the dude really can't hit. He was 5/33, .152, this sim. Could be a long year at the hot corner.

                      Most impressive Bats so far:
                      Robert Abbott - 23/45 - 17 runs
                      Delmar Oyos - 8 gm, 10.2 IP, 1 ER, 7 K, 2 BB, .97 WHIP

Lost promising young CF RJ Rollins for the season, and starting LF Gene Sykes is out for a month. Yikes.

Sykes is made of glass. His injury was to be expected. Losing Rollins to a torn ACL sucks.
