  • 1990 BOLD Predictions Thread

I figured since everyone is predicting big things, lets put them where they belong.

    I'll start:

Baltimore will have 3 pitchers win at least 15 games:

I'm not ready to put any predictions in stone yet... but I did take a preliminary look at "Shavermetrics" as of today....

Maine and Washington are the best in each League

Pittsburgh, Hartford and Los Alamos look to be at the bottom

Again, too soon to tell and I'll definitely put out a documented 'prediction' during Spring Training, but that's my first glance.

Yeah, but it took him 163 games to get them. Stupid 163rd game!

So, you're Staff is going to add over 200 K's to what they did last season? Are you counting on 200+ from all of your starters?

Don't be modest, Clay. I know Shavermetrics has VA as best in the IL.

Not as of today. Not having your Ace/IL Pale Winner or a 5th Starter hurts... even in Shavermetrics.

Nope. I just think I'll have a bunch of guys that are all above average in the strikeout category.

-Maine sets a franchise record with 115 wins.

-Virginia sets a franchise record with 100+ wins.

-Batavia sets a franchise record with 81+ wins.

-California will beat Virginia again in the ILCS to meet up with Maine.

-Maine will beat Dallas in the DLCS to meet up with California for a rematch the Guide's ultimately win.

-Stout is still, head and shoulders better than any division in the BLB.

I won 99 in '89, so I'm going to need 100+ to set a Franchise record.
