Well, it's 26.9 million a year if you count all the bonus money he can earn.

Are we allowed to offer whatever bonus we like? I know this has created some pretty heated debates in some other leagues I have been in.

Basically my house rule for SP is if they aren't asking for it I can't give it to them.

Still working it out. Andrew wrote a new script that works for him, but still doesn't work for me. He's been super busy (plus holiday weekend) so hopefully soon.

We've never had a rule and people have always offered large bonuses. It's never been a problem. That being said, it can certainly be debated and discussed if the league deems it necessary.

The utility is supposed to be doing it on it's own, but it's being looked at.

BTW, he only has one bonus in his contract... and it's for winning Pitcher of the year... so its not something I have control over if he does/doesn't get the money.

I think inning/at-bat rewards are shady because they can be controlled by the user if they get close.

It seems article bonuses are being "paid" out as they are submitted (at least it appeared that way during the season, my balance went up each time I submitted an article), but the awards cash still hasn't shown up.

The awards cash and luxury tax should update at the end of the playoffs automatically. Will hopefully have time to look at it today.

Also, I have another question about FA. I had a contract out to a guy who said I was his favorite. After signing Guardamagni, I still have 12 million left over in the bank for for FA, I was offering the mystery man 2.5 million a year... so, to my surprise, my offer had been pulled from the player and he was still unsigned. I re-offered him this sim... but I find it weird that my offer for him just disappeared especially when I still have over 12 million left in the bank. It's like my offer was removed.

I noticed the same thing last season when I had open offers to FA's. I think it has something to do with once you go into a pending offer to view it, you have to submit it again otherwise it drops off your pending offers page. Seems like a bug, but I would say always confirm the offer still shows once you exit the details screen.
