Thanks. The "decline last year" things take time. Plus a trade... blah...blah... It'll get better.

California is putting up some serious money for Donato. I know, I did it to myself.

Yea, I'm open about wanting a true ACE like that, but I doubt I have the money Cali is going to throw at him.

I'm mostly happy that I locked up what has been a very solid left handed power bat. And Romo is only 28 which is even better. He'll play some RF this year (with O'Fallon at 1B), but expect him to be a 1B/DH starting in 1991.

I've been wanting a left-handed power hitter to compliment Zamarida since I joined this league in 1982. I really hope this is the guy.

Fernando Pargas needs a new home.

I'm offering pretty damn good money for the guy and he's still going leaning towards In-And-Out Burgers (that doesn't sound too bad right now actually).

I bet it doesn't hurt that California is a winning team, either. I guess I can save that money for stadium mod for next year (hopefully).

Also now that I've gotten the guy I wanted, I might as well share.

There are a lot of former players as coaches, available.

I just hired former Slammer, Duncan "Stinger" MacGregor as my new AA manager.

You know what's crazy about Donato?

His BABIP in 1989 was abnormally high. Yea, HIGH! And he still put up the numbers he did. Disgusting.

Keep telling yourself that the winning is the reason and not the "B'More Bailout" that helped to free up the cash.
