Doesn't the game automatically induct players right after they retire without the five year waiting period?

If so, the game didn't think Cabezas or Cleary was worth of being inducted.

I think Andrew disabled that in the settings. At least I thought he did.

(And thank you for not winning another championship and embarrassing me).

Yes I did. The game shouldn't induct anyone automatically.

              GTFO!

Virginia wins the division, lots of Bats injured, and now this. Rather "coincidental" with a new commish.

What's that phrase,: "I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin," or something to that effect.

Perhaps not as noteworthy as Pat's situation, but pretty devastating to the Furry Pigs none-the-less...

C Jerry Fortin and 3B Leonel Tesina opt out. And it looks like their demands are well above what I can pay.

Fortin did the same thing to me after '87 and then missed 90% of the '88 season waiting for a contract. If WAS hadn't signed him late in that season, he'd be retired right now.

Fortin had a pretty good season for a 38 year-old catcher. I made the last year on his contract a mutual option in part because I wasn't sure he'd come down from his demands without an escape clause. But I also figured he probably didn't have much left in his tank. It would seem he believes he's got plenty of gas left. His demands are sky high and he's supposedly not very greedy (4 rating). If I had the cash I'd probably risk it on him.

As for Tesina, that one's really going to hurt. .300 hitters are a rare breed in Los Lunas.
