Clay, you can let go of your ankles now. Markus is finished.

I didn't want to jinx myself by talking about it; but I felt like we matched up well against the 'Cuse. Unfortunately, I don't have the same kind of vibe regarding The Guides. We have been giant killers in our limited playoff experience. Of course when you're struggling to break .500 all season, every team you play is a "giant".

Hopefully my Lager Brothers will send some more positive vibes our way.

Lock up your wives and daughters...There's a bus-full of Los Lunatics headed to moose country.

Really sorry for Clay. Herrera was a great young pitcher.

          Geez I didn't realize he was 22.

Injuries are the worst part about this game. I can stand losing, I can stand prospects going sideways, but injuries are just downright cruel sometimes.

Damn that's a kick in the balls.

I sympathize with you, sir. I definitely know how you feel.

              Good series, Clay.

Sorry to hear about Ironfist but hopefully you guys can bounce back against California.

Congrats to Jim and his furry pigs who made us look like clowns (specifically, the Indy Clowns) in a 4-1 series win.

Our pitching was terrible. I think our ERA in the first inning over the week was 14.40. It's hard to win when you put yourselves in huge holes each game. We can't hit against lefties either. Overall, 7.07 ERA for the week and only hit .247, 50 points lower than the regular season.

Oh well... could not be happier with 1989. We get everyone back except for Cuevas and Cabezas, so I'm looking forward to 1990. Good luck to the final four teams tonight!
