    My take:

Maine over Denver in five games. I think Maine is the best team in the league this year. I know they play in a joke conference, but the top of that rotation is lethal. I think Denver can get maybe one or two games at home, but that's about it.

Los Lunas over Syracuse in seven games. Syracuse wins 100 games, has what, one losing sim all year? And how do they get rewarded? By playing the one team they had a losing record against in Los Lunas. There is always one first-round upset each year and while I am rooting for Jake in his first time post-season, the veteran Javelinas should prevail.

Virginia over Davenport in six games. Virginia is loaded. Davenport has Russ McEvoy. He almost single-handedly won me the Brewmaster's last year. Too bad he can't pitch every day.

California over Wilmington in six games. This should be a good series, of polar opposites. The slick fielding, pitching, singles hitting Kodiaks versus the power lineup of Wilmington. Something has to give. I'll take Linty and California.

    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

I don't disagree at all. I just don't think we have the pitching to get us through. And I still haven't figured out who our fourth starter is going to be.
    Charlotte Knights - OSFL
    Syracuse Slammers - BLB
South America - 1984 WBC Runner Up

Wait a second... how can Wilmington have home field advantage in the first round?

Even though Wilmington has the better record... they're the Wild Card... doesn't winning a division trump records in terms of home field?

I was thinking the same thing...

It's something I noticed in the past, too, and I thought I brought it up several seasons ago.

I don't really mind about not having the home field advantage... just might be something to look at in the offseason.

We're just happy to be in this year.

We are clearly overmatched by Virginia but we do have one thing over them: playoff experience.

I'm fearful of going out like LeBron, so I'm not touching my series....

                Give me....

                Maine over Denver
                Los Lunas over Syracuse
                Wilmington over California
                The Great One!

                To many rings to count...

I'd like to see a Virginia/Syracuse series. I just know Clay's luck though.

So I'll do Wilmington vs Maine.
