Eh. Another 3-3 sim. I don't want to say we're backing into the playoffs, but I'm waiting for us to kick it into some sort of gear.
That being said, our magic number is 2 for the division and 1 for the WC, so I'm willing to take the risk and sit some starters to get everyone right for the (assumed) first round.
But I'm fully expecting an 0-7 sim.Charlotte Knights - OSFL

Well, we got what we asked for. We’ve trimmed down CAL’s lead 1 game each time over the last 3 sims, taking a 5 game deficit and turning it into 2 heading into the final week where we play CAL in the final 4 game series to wrap things up. Still probably too little too late, but as Lloyd Christmas once said, “So you're telling me there's a chance... "
We’ve had recent success against the Kodiaks, but we certainly can’t look past BAL to start the week. They’ve had our number all year. We’re on the road which in this bizarro season of ours is a good thing (finished 40-41 at home this year). Anything less than a 5-2 record and we really don’t have much of a shot, but at least we’re still playing meaningful games.Philly Freedom

we suck at home.
Although, you may want to watch out for Mr. Washington. He has finally decided to show up when nothing matters for us. He hits sub .280 for the majority of the year but when its all over for us, he wants to hit .324, 8 bombs and 37 RBI. He didn't hit 37 in July and August combined.

Well we played admirably down the stretch. 5 games out with 3 against Los Lunas and 4 against Sin City. 33-22 over the last two months- have been very unlucky this year too with a horrible record in one run games.
Too little, too late this year but I'm still impressed at what the team was able to do without two starting pitchers for the majority of the year. I think this team has a lot of potential next year assuming they stay healthy.
