We finish the season hosting Davenport in a 4 game series so its a good bet that the division will still be up in the air unless we find a way to blow it before then.
In other news, we went 4-2 with a sweep of Washington. It also appears that if somehow we made the playoffs, Hector Castre would be back.Washington Bats, 2013-

4-2 still 1 game back of the division.
Nice to have Art Abrams and Manny Cisneros back with the team. Looks like everybody is starting to get hot at the right time too.
Hopefully we can play well over the next week and a half before we head to Carolina for that showdown in the season finale series.Toronto Canadians - 2004-

I'll ask in this thread. Will stadium mods affordability be based on cash before or after Jan 1st?

Well, we gained another game in the standings this week while traversing the Stout minefield. All I want at this point is to not lose any ground between now and the last week of the season since we have 4 games @ CAL to finish up the schedule. At least then it makes things exciting.
Suddenly though we find ourselves 3 games back in the WC chase as well. Interesting. The bad thing is we're chasing two teams there. Much harder to make up ground on two teams than just one.
13 games to go and 3 back. We're not in great or even good shape, but we're still breathing.Philly Freedom

Wow, over .500 now and 6 games back
I know its very, very difficult but we're at least making it interesting. 13 games left to play including 3 against Los Lunas and 4 against Sin City. Either way, we're going to be big players in the playoff race in one way or another. Don Leonard will be back in action for that last week of the season too. Hopefully, I'm still mathematically alive at that point!

This is what it's all about. Considering Denver has Syracuse coming up for three this sim, that four game set against Dallas could be the deciding series for the Wild Card. Or, it may give another team a chance to slide right in.
Also, after looking dead for most of the season (which included a huge slide in the second half of 1988), Norm Seltzer has responded to his benching. He batted .209 in July and lost his job. In the past two months he has hit 9 home runs and batted over .360. If the season ended today, his .279/.350/.442 along with 14 home runs and 60 RBI (on a team 8th in the league in scoring) would never indicate that he struggled horribly before August 1st.Last edited by Carlos; 05-07-2010, 03:49 PM.Denver Bulls

A fitting end to our season. Resigned Theodore...and he's out for the year.
It's been a rough one. The good news is I like our future. And we'll have our highest draft pick in franchise history this year. I plan on being back real soon.WINDY CITY PLAYBOYS
