Meh... too many head-to-head games left to wave the white flag. I too am a subscriber to the 'hot month' in OOTP and the roles could certainly be reversed in September and October (when we play). Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to play the Lou Holtz card and pretend that I don't feel good about my chances to make my first post-season, but I'm certainly not counting on it. Between Poling, McSwain, Maeda and Herrrera, I'm getting at least one injury that results in missed games to an important piece each SIM. If that doesn't stop, I can and will fall quickly.

That being said, a chance to get my 80th win before September 1st when you're a franchise that has only 4 seasons with 80 or more wins in league history (87 being the most) is quite exciting.
