Let's just agree that the only proper thing is to make sure we both take care of the Wildcard chasers so that we can take this battle into the playoffs as well. In?

I assume by September 1st, we will be 10+ games ahead of the next closest Wildcard chaser.

                  Baltimore Bulldogs (54-51)

                  0-3 at BAT
                  3-1 vs PHI

                  THE GOOD

-- Our pitching was decent last week after the previous week's debacle. We posted a 3.25 ERA for the week.

-- The catcher position continues to be our achilles heel. This past week, Todd and Rodenas hit a combined, .156 in 26 AB. Our pitchers hit better than that.

-- I keep singing the praises of Ivan Garcia. I'm really impressed with the progress he's made this year: 30 percentage points in average, walks still impressive, and reigning in the strikeouts. I feel like I've got a solid, young, infield for the next 3-4 years.

                  THE BAD

-- Despite all the praise I am giving our pitching staff, we were swept in Batavia. Our offense couldn't get the key hits necessary to keep us in games. Hopefully, we can get the clutch hits this week.

                  ON-DECK

-- Next up we face Morgantown and Davenport. This will be the end of a 10-game home stand and we've got to get these wins at home.

I won't be home in time to export. Sorry.

....but, don't let me hold it up. My team has actually been playing well since my last export, so I haven't touched much. Hell, Krsnich still isn't on the DL.
