As expected. We made some changes to give the kids some AAA work. We think Greene and DMac have bright futures but we hope that some time in AAA will fix some issues.

Browning will spend a week in AAA to get into the swing of things.

        6-1

        3-0 vs. Baltimore
        3-1 vs. Cali

Just like every year we seem to get hot against our own division and after the All-Star break. And just like every year we finish under .500 and get a mid-round draft pick.

        Good

        - CL Ken Bayer is back with 0 ER and 5 saves for the week
        - SP Pete Hudder threw a gem his 1st game...7.2 IP, 9 K's, 2 BB, 0 ER and was a little tired going into game #2 where he pitched 4 innings with 5 BB's and 7 K's. We'll limit his pitch count to 100 or so to keep him rested.
        - 2B Jermaine Ednams hit .433/.452/.700 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI's. He should be a front runner for Rookie of the Year
        - SP Nathan Athey...2 starts...14 IP, 14 K's, 0 BB's, 3 ER
        - 1 error

        Bad

        - Our SS/3B continue to be our downfall. Together Crockett and Pollard in 43 AB's had 9 hits, 8 K's, and 1 walk
        - SP Sasaki pitches 7.7 innings, 2 ER, 4 K's and get's the loss because we don't score a single run
        - Judd Cobb is on fire with Maine...did we trade the right 1st baseman? Only time will tell. We wish him all the luck.

On the plus side, Valencia was good this week. That was a good deal.
Times are tough, its actually a little foot powered thing. Pretty quiet. By the time you see us, it'll be too late.

And yeah, Valencia is not sucking. 4 homers on the week and he's averaging almost an RBI per game since the deal.

Nice of you to send down promising young players to help Dallas pad their win total. You Pilsner guys DO stick together.

We've been happy with EG as well.

I will. He mentioned that he left a half a pouch of Big League Chew in his locker. If you get a chance, if you could send it his way. Thanks.

Yeah, the bearded lady found it. We'll get him a fresh pouch next time you're in town.

Holy geez... 55-7 in three games I guess sums it up. Sorry clown.

And yes, the Pilsner is great... the clown is rebuilding.

But... damn Dallas. Takes 3 of 4 and we're all even at the top.

Little do you know I almost changed my ways....I tried to trade Syracuse the lefty arm he needed...but he ended up bailing at the end...something about helping a team in the division. I told him I was shooting for the WC so that's why I was willing to make the trade but after the trade fell through I vowed to go all out to win the division outright. I'm glad the guys in the clubhouse were able to help me out this sim...hopefully we can keep it going.

hahaha... I just said I didn't want to move Zamora in division, that's all... I'm always glad to help my Pilsner brothers. Hence why we lost 3 of 4, to help get you to the top of the division!

Made last minute plans to go away this weekend so won't be able to run the sim on Friday. I will try to get it in late tomorrow night though. Exports due by 10 pm ET

I know it's short notice so if this time change doesn't work for anyone let me know and I'll run it Sunday when I get back instead.
