You need to qualify for rate statistics like BA, OBP, etc. The requirement is 3.1 PA per team game. Perez is just under that (which is why you don't see him listed on the league leaders for BA).

Pimp him for a Manager pick. He's done enough to at least be considered.

he'll probably be eligible after the next sim. I think he was at 3.05 or so right now.

also a quick pimp for von haynes who would probably be in the running at catcher if i actually let him play there (he's rated a 7, it's just that ward is an 8, and they've both gotta play). he's sort of buried at DH though, nobody's taking that from underwood.

and another one for elam who has really started to shine in the bullpen for me this year.

                    edit: added elam

Bastards! I'm thinking most of my hay is going to be made on the Manager's picks anyway.

All I know is my Pitching staff deserves to be represented.... and Woodbury, Nino and potentially a couple others should at least get looks.

I didn't vote for Alvarez at 1b. Someone did, but how can you ignore that average for Shannon? Alvarez should be a lock as the backup though.
Romo's a lock. Tardif deserves some consideration. He's been outstanding, but the IL is loaded with some great pitchers this year.
