Needed a sweep of Syracuse to stay in the race this early in the season. 4-3. Wow. Pancho Sierra is not a closer (I already knew that but he's the best man for the job).

I also feel like Denver plays in at least two extra inning games a week. Ridiculous. (warning: this is hyperbole!)

Just did a quick check. The most X-inning games is LL with 9. A bunch of teams (maybe 5) have 8...you have 7. Quit your whining.

P.S. I took note of your 'hyperbole' warning, but was curious so did some research.

Hurray! Our first winning sim of the year (4-3). Picked up a few wins against the division, unfortunately not enough to make us rise from the basement.

Maybe we have some life in us yet. Still holding off before adding Elliott, Gugierrez, and Nathan to the trade block.

And TheLette...I mean Ivan...debuts on the Top Prospect list at #39. Other than that...nothing. My drafts have gone from bad to worse for this poor organization.

              3-4

              0-2 vs. Balt
              0-2 vs. Cali
              3-0 vs. Philly

              Good

              - A team .322 average for the week
              - 7 HR's for the week...including 3 by Shaw Barnes.
              - Jesus finally rose and hit .478/.536/.609 for the week.

              Bad

              - A team ERA of 6.24 and WHIP of 1.68. Pitching used to be our strong point.
              - 5 pitchers that had over 10.00 ERA's! We never should have traded away Athey...he was a solid #2...and the guys we got turned into nothing.
              - Man I hate my pitching

Yea, I also checked and was honestly surprised with the numbers. Last year I remember being in a load of extra inning games. I know this year has been less, but that 16 inning marathon brought back tough memories.

Yea, Pat was. He had a good week. Might be getting warmed up now.

Wow, Pawtucket lost their 2 best hitters for extended periods of time.

Can't believe all the big names on that list.

Got beat up by my division, but expected nothing less...

Our #1 pick debuts at #7 on BA top 100, I guess that's something.

                          I hate OOTP 10.

We're done. Another season ender, another starter out for 6 weeks.

Seems like the game has turned into softball.

Not sure if you got the memo but we're trying to keep all the best talent in the Pilsner...so you'll want to trade with either us, Syracuse or Denver.
