A friend of mine from college used to ask me about it all the time (OOTP, not BLB). No matter what I said to him, no matter how many times I corrected him or showed him how the game works, he couldn't get it out of his head that it wasn't real. To him, I was simulating the real baseball season. And I don't mean fantasy baseball. No. Real, actual baseball.

I never found out if he thought the real world MLB was run on my computer and I was god, but if you ever met this kid, you wouldn't put it past him.

I just noticed today that I've been here 4 years. Back then Andrew was Camulous lol. I actually thought I was done with OOTP baseball when I got the invite and only did it since I knew all the guys. FIgured we'd last a few seasons.

It's my favorite league ever though.

I missed most of the early speedbumps. Either that or things just got way better once I got here (Dec 2006).
