Carolina Tobs- 16-16, 1st in Bock
This Week: 4-2 (1-2 @ Batavia, 3-0 @ Baltimore)
The Good
- Amato Albors had a great week, .417/.464/.667. We needed him to step up this season if we were going to compete and so far he has done so.
-Hector Castre had a very good start breaking a string of poor performances, giving up 1 earned over 8 innings, striking out 10.
-Our bullpen continues to pitch very well. I thought they would be an absolute disaster, but so far my pen leads the IL with a 2.76 ERA. I know I just jinxed it, but so far they've been great.
-We're in first place. Don't ask me how, but we are.
The Bad
-We got shut down in our 2 losses at Batavia. This team just doesn't hit consistently enough to be true contenders.
-Shawn Gates continues to suck. I remember when I thought I had a future stud after his first couple seasons in the BLB. I'm not sure what happened, but OOTP X hasn't been kind to him.
The Ugly
-Tajo Delclos is out 4-5 months with a broken elbow. With him now gone for the rest of the season, we're screwed. I don't have anyone else capable of starting games that I can see at either the big league or AAA levels. Not sure what we're going to do about this.

Denver might need some 5-1 weeks to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Happy with another 4-2 sim, but it's not even enough anymore! Pilsner, baby, indeed.Denver Bulls

The ordering system seems to mean nothing.
Although it does seem to stick with the SU/CL roles pretty well.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

Plus we're always good for a big injury that will derail our championship hopes.

- I told Dallas last year when the Pateshall trade went down that he was going to revert back to being an Ace in the IL and that he had all but guaranteed a Bats championship by shipping him there.
- Our apologies to Mr. Matthews' family. We're sorry they had to see that.Philly Freedom
