SIM COMPLETE - 1989 - Regular Season 4

I look at Clay's roster and that starting staff and I see a playoff team. Nino, Poling, O'Hegarty, Toselli, Woodbury, and even Nelson. The offense is loaded, and the younger pitchers are pitching to their potential. Bullpen is middle of the pack, but I think the rest of the team is good enough to overcome it.

Oh, I almost forgot...the Bats are 0-3 against Wilmington this year.

I love the Colonials starting pitching. The starting five right now, and when you include the SP prospects on the farm, they are going to be scary.

I still think I go at least 2-2 in that sim if my export goes through. Playing my worst SP two games in a row is not a great formula for success.

I've been in my share of races... all of which I was both slow and steady... I won none of them.

Yes... but I was also surprised by Jackson's 6 errors on the year. For someone with a 6 in error ratings... I thought he'd be much more surehanded than that.

Picked up Ivn Arellano off waivers from Davenport this past sim.

Just two years ago he hit 30 HR's in the BLB so I'm hoping he still has something left in the tank.

Either way, he should make a solid pinch runner/late game defensive replacement.

Good riddance.

Never got along with Arellano at all. He just never wanted to hit for me and my patience wore thin.

Maybe a change of scenario is what he needs.
